         Wacker Neuson has expanded its mobile generator fleet with a new 256 kW/320 kVA model. The new G 320 is the largest in a fleet of 10 model sizes available. Utilizing the latest Cummins diesel emissions technology engine, this durable sound attenuated generator provides mobile, prime power for larger applications requiring quiet dedicated power. The G 320 is especially suited for areas requiring Best Available Technology (BAT) to meet the most stringent Environmental Protection Agency (EPA ) and California Air Resource Board air standards.

          Wacker Neuson’s new G320 generator means serious power.  With a prime power output rating of 256 kW/320 kVA and a standby output rating of 269 kW/336 kVA, this unit is ideal for application needing dedicated power including large general rental, oil and gas, mining, plant shutdown and large events.  The G 320 is powered by a 433-hp Tier 4i Cummins diesel engine that operates at a sound level of 78 dB(A) at 23 feet.  Many “green” features complement the ultra-clean engine including a 115% fluid containment, crankcase oil vapor recovery system, “no mess” oil and radiator drain hoses/valves and fast fuel fill system.  The large fuel tank capacity of 400 gallons provides long run time of up to 24 hours at prime load and 29 hours at 75% prime load. 

            The G320 mobile generator is designed for ease of operation and long run time with standard features that include an engine block heater, low coolant shutdown, low idle switch, 24 Volt engine operating voltage, three sets of cam locks and remote start capability.  A digital controller monitors and protects the generator and engine while providing continuous operating data on an easy read LCD display. The brushless, oversized alternators with separate excitation winding and Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) provide superior motor starting and enhanced ability to run non-linear loads.  A low maintenance diesel particulate filter (DPF) eliminates visible soot and smoke and automatically regenerates passively or actively as needed.

            Designed for a durable long life, the G 320 is offered with a two year bumper to bumper warranty with unlimited hours.  A separate engine warranty and Cummins engine extended major components warranty of 36 months or 10,000 hours is available.
