MBW Walk-Behind Power Trowels contain gearboxes that have been time tested since the 1970’s. The gearbox is made of heavy-duty cast aluminum alloy with heat dissipating fins that guarantee the trowel’s whole life cost.

- One piece worm shaft for ease of disassembly and maintenance
- Solid bronze worm gear eliminates any potential separation of composite designs, reliably transmitting torque to the large diameter output shaft
